We are currently looking for a highly skilled business development manager to join our team

The role:

  • You will be responsible for identifying key contacts within target clients for the agency, making strategic approaches, and securing new business meetings, cred shares and new briefs for the agency and senior directors
  • You will confidently and professionally be able to sell the agencies proposition to senior level marketers and brand managers on email, over the phone and where necessary, face to face
  • You will be targeted on meetings generated and new project briefs secured
  • You will pull together suitable creds and presentations in order to attract and impress new clients
  • Your time will be spent researching, prospecting and contacting senior level decision makers at both brands and agencies and securing meetings for the senior team.

The person

  • You will have a minimum of two years experience and a proven track record in a business development role within the marketing, advertising or creative sector
  • You will be a confident sales person with exceptional written English, telephone manner, and presentation skills
  • You will enjoy hunting for new business and take a proactive approach to securing new clients
  • You will be able to show how your previous experience and sales skills have directly generated new business in the past
  • Ideally, you will have a keen interest in the creative sector. Visual arts, design, technology, photography and filmmaking are all amongst your interests.
  • Ideally you will have contacts, friends or previous clients within brands at a senior level within marketing or brand teams.
