An instantly shareable 3D photo experience for LE Miami delegates
For the LE Miami hospitality trade fair, we were approached by the event producers, Beyond Luxury. The brief was to create a photographic solution for their client, Visit WeHo - the West Hollywood Tourist Board.
The results of the activation were to be engaging and fun, whilst representing WeHo as a cultural hub, with their brand identity at the forefront.
With a recent re-brand of WeHo, this gave us a great opportunity to design a photo activation that would raise awareness of their brand message.
As the re-brand had bright colours and was created to symbolise an idealised visual guide for West Hollywood life - we designed a 3D photo rig, with 10 ultra-high quality cameras in an array. With custom WeHo branding, it was to create an easily recognisable space for guests to see when approaching the activation.
Adding another level of immersion to the guest's experience, we designed a digital 3D overlay to resonate with Hollywood culture and add even more depth to the 3D outputs.
As soon as the LE Miami show went live - the WeHo activation saw hundreds of guests come to the photo activation, to be captured in dynamic 3D - standing apart from anything else seen at LE Miami. All 3D content was automatically edited in seconds, ready to be shared from the nearby social screens.
The content created a big buzz around the activation and was shared in mass across social media. This gave the Visit WeHo team a great talking point to build on with delegates; creating memories and a strong impression of Visit WeHo.
